The Last Friday

The Last Friday is a poetry editing group. Once a month, we post a poem and then offer feedback to the other poems on the Forum. We're a friendly but honest group. We value each other deeply and desire for every poet to be published or become famous.

I would cut the parenthetical.  It detracts from the splendid rhyme employed in "Roses."

Todd's poems would fit right in here on The Left Coast where almost nothing rhymes.  I like your jibe in this little-bit.  Do you have a limerick for him, too?  Hee HAW came out of Bakersfield, CA with Buck Owens.  They named the stockyards after him. Dewell
