Having fun for sure

I See the Glow

and then Wheezer drops the verbal bomb,
“We oughta build a tree house right here.”  
Looking around, I see nothing for miles,

no trees, donkey farms, bike ranks.
I turn to Spanky, who seems pleased
by the thunderation in the clouds

and rumbling of the rocks.  He says
something about stuffing the scene
inside ourselves until after the equinox.

Really?  Is this a satire/ take-off of what happened on Mount Transfiguration?  (Matt 17: 1 - 13)   

If not, I am lost and need lots of help....

If so, I'm smiling at what you did.  

Thunderation... rumbling rocks... stuff it down... I like to pick this poem apart and enjoy the colorful nuggets though I really don't get the total meaning.  I need some clues, please.  Maybe I'm too literal in my search for meaning.
