    Out on a Late-Morning Run

    These Florida trees and plants
    look plastic and out of place;  
    even the softshell turtle
    is heading toward safety.

    Laughing.  Okay, the title says what you are doing.   In MO, I suppose.  And you are seeing palm trees?  (Property owner loves FLorida? and does not go with what grows easily in MO.)   I can see what you see.  It looks all wrong and weird.  I suppose the turtle does not like it either. . . heading another direction?   I noted your syllable count on title and lines - 7, except last line.   Your thought comes through with an image.  Nice.
