“There’s a fine line between cribbing and writing an homage inspired by somebody. You should be able to tell. If you feel your poem is way too close to someone else’s, it’s probably too close.


I think the reason I sent this particular poem to you is because I think it is probably too close.  I have dumped many poems. Not a problem.  Helpful feedback.  


Thank  you.  If there's anything I do not want, it is trouble regarding a poem.  I am much obliged for the 'straight talk.'
