South carolina poem

That One Day in Columbia,, SC

Four deer in the front yard 
on the day of your birth. 
Probably normal travel
for this neighborhood.  

We, too, have come from afar 
to celebrate.  Maybe not as 
world-changing as one centuries
ago, but just as welcome.

S 1:  I'm thinking you are there in S C for a birthday celebration...not so unusual for that neighborhood for visitors to come from afar.  (I like the 4 deer)

S 2:  Wise men came from afar to celebrate the Christ child. Both babies are welcomed.
